Graduate Appreciation - Alison

This week’s graduate appreciation post goes to Alison (@lashedbyalizon )! Having had the experience of getting lashes with iLash Angels back in 2017; she was later curious and interested. Being in the dental field, Alison wondered if she could transfer her skills into the lash industry as she heard other people in her industry did that prior. So, when Immi announced the opening of Lash Boss Masterclass, Alison couldn’t help but ask herself “Why not?”

Of course, starting anything new required time, patience and a lot of practice. Alison didn’t stray from a challenge though. If anything, it was because of the challenge that she is now able to achieve such beautiful lashes on her clients! Retention had been one of the most difficult hurdles for Alison to the point that she almost wanted to throw in the towel. However, she did not give up and as a result, her lash retention had improved! The feeling of being about to complete a lash set and “watch the client just fall in love with themselves,” became very rewarding.

It wasn’t always just work, work, work for Alison. Lashing became something so different and unique. The feeling when someone booked her in made her “feel like a total girl boss!” And when someone came back, it was a sign that she was doing amazing! Her clients weren’t JUST her clients. She had made friends through bonding over lashes, “I would genuinely hang out with (them) and that’s so rewarding to me.” We love hearing that Alison growing and building sincere relationships through just lashing!

At the same time, our girl was having the flexibility to work whenever she wanted. She could decide to not work on days where she wanted to go away and travel. And when she did, she could easily have her availabilities open. She was earning an extra cashflow where she didn’t realise, she could!

All in all, we want to give a massive congratulations to Alison. For jumping into something new and as a result, has given so many individuals the smile they deserve. For allowing others to experience that good feeling after finishing a lash session just by enhancing their already beautiful self! We love what you’re doing! Keep spreading the love!
