My Story & iLash Angels

Hi, my name is Immi and I'm the founder of iLash Angels, also a first-time mum to my baby boy Jordan.

About 10 years ago, I moved to Finland as that’s where my husband Nico is from. I didn’t speak the language so there wasn’t much for me to do. So his sister who runs multiple successful beauty studios decided to ask me if I wanted to learn lash extensions. I thought why not just give it a go?

I was very surprised at how quickly I learned it and how amazing it looked. So it got me very, very excited. I practised every single day at the salon, and then I got a job there.

So moving back to Australia in 2013. I decided I wanted to do this for myself. I found some family & friends and I build up a portfolio through them. Then I found a small room that I rented in a hairdressing salon and that's how I started my business.

In the beginning, I was handing out flyers (sticking them into car windows). Then I opened up a Facebook page and got customers right away. I figured out how to market myself online and became fully booked in a couple of months.

Years later I flew to attend prestigious training and got accredited as an International Nala Certified educator, which is the highest and most reputable accreditation a lash educator like myself can have.

As my business grew, more and more people asked me to teach them how to do lash extensions… But I only hand-picked some of my closest friends that wanted to join my team and work at iLash as I had the vision to build the most in-deman & trustworthy beauty studio in the local Sydney area.

Over the years I’ve built a team of 5 extraordinary elite lash artists that clients travel near and far to meet. We’ve served THOUSANDS of clients and have received such heartfelt reviews that you can find both on Google and Facebook. We were also so honoured to win the Local Business Award for “The Most Outstanding Beauty Service” in 2021.

For the first time after ten years… I finally decided to teach people outside of my direct team in hopes that lashing can be as life-changing for others as it was for me. I’m hoping to be the guide for others, that I wish I had when I first started.

So I put together everything that I've learned over the past 10 years to help individuals get started on their lash business journey through my 2-Day Lash Boss Masterclasses.
